Greetings!

We hope you have SAVED the date for our annual Dunnellon Christmas Parade brought to you by your Chamber of Commerce!

We are in DESPERATE need for volunteers to make this year's parade the success it has been. There are many ways you can help! Help is needed in the following areas: Registration, line up, parade route monitors, parade judging, and parade ending.

We are in need of at least 30 volunteers to line the streets of the parade route as parade security to make sure no one drives into the parade while the streets along East and West Pennsylvania host our annual parade.

If you would like to be a participant and enter a float, walk or drive in the parade YOU MUST BE REGISTERED BY DECEMBER 10TH. Please fill out the attached parade application AND complete a HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT for every person in your group that is participation in the parade.

The parade will begin at 5:30 pm on Cedar and Park and continue on Cedar to Pennsylvania Avenue then crossing Highway 41 and continuing on Pennsylvania Avenue to end at the Rainbow River.

It would be awesome if businesses along the parade route would ADOPT their block area. It is a great time to host a parade themed party at your business! Invite your clients to watch the parade from YOUR business if you are along the parade route!

By adopting their block area, they could help with the parade patrol security and monitor the streets that are closed with barricades adjacent to their business and support the parade by advertising in advance the parade route, date and times.

Please remember that the streets will be closed that are along the route of the parade until the parade is completed. Therefore, prepare telling your clients in advance.
